Queen began their association with Montreux (Switzerland) in 1978, when they started making 'Jazz' at the renowed Mountain Studios, built in the reconstructed casino (it got burned after a Frank Zappa gig in 1971, inmortalized in Deep Purple's 'Smoke on the Water' song). Queen enjoyed working at Mountain so much that in 1979 they bought the studios. Foto: Queen at the Lake House, Rue du Lac, Montreux. From 'Queen on camera, off guard".
